From the beginning, our company has been rooted in local agriculture and we still supply pasture seed to local farms. If you are a homeowner that’s looking for alternatives to traditional lawns, we carry a low-maintenance grass seed blend that requires little to no mowing or fertilizer. For homeowners looking to “rewild” areas of their yard, we carry wildflower, clover, and meadow seeds.

We offer complete selections of fertilizer from Jonathan Green, Scotts, Espoma, and various commercial brands to supply landscapers. Organic fertilizers for lawns and gardens include Milorganite, Espoma, Jonathan Green, Neptune’s Harvest, Miracle-Gro, and Fox Farm.

Our products include standard synthetic methods together with effective organic controls. If you are struggling with larger creatures, we have deterrents for birds and critters large and small—plus live-catch traps from Havahart.

Tools

Lawn and garden tools? Got 'em.

We have every hoe, shovel, rake, weeder, fork, and spade that you could possibly need. Alongside the basic tools to get it done, we carry the highest quality forged and welded tools — tough enough that they might get passed on as a family heirloom. If you already have an heirloom tool, we have hardwood replacement handles for shovels, hoes, axes, and mauls.

For maintaining your landscape we have loppers, hand pruners, pole saws, grass shears, specialty weeders, gloves, hose nozzles, sprinklers, and hoses. Our tools are manufactured by quality brands such as Razorback, Felco, Silky, Corona, Fiskars, Garden Weasel, Kinco, Gilmour, and Orbit. Basically, if it’s a tool used for gardening, we have it and it’s well-made.

Soils & Mulches

Morrison’s carries a wide selection of bagged mulch, potting mix, soil, compost, and amendments. We take pride in offering supreme products from companies like Coast of Maine, Moo Doo, Bumper Crop, Fox Farm, and Espoma.

Quality organic soils are the standard at Morrison’s. We have nutrient-packed potting soils for growing superior flowers, vegetables, and houseplants plus gentle seed starting mixes necessary to get you growing in the spring. We have rich planting soils and composts, along with specific blends tailored for gardens and raised beds. If you’re looking for individual components to make your own recipe, we have coco coir, vermiculite, perlite, rice hulls, clay pebbles, bat guano, alfalfa meal, rock phosphate and so much more.

In addition to our standard selections of mulch, we carry specialty products including buckwheat hulls, pine straw, hemlock, cocoa shells, and Coast of Maine’s enriching mulches. We do our best to keep these items in stock but please call ahead to check availability.

HARDSCAPES

Our stone hardscaping materials include a variety of stepping stones, pallets of wall stone and pavers, cobblestones in three sizes, bagged pea gravel, marble in assorted sizes, river rock, bluestone drainage rock, and fine patio screenings.

We also carry split rail fencing, pressure-treated landscape timber, cedar posts, and assorted grades and sizes of steel posts.
